I thought maybe it was heating issues, running hwinfo64 I get nothing over 82, I tried finding a thermal shutdown setting, I can't seem to find one, stranger yet is that it will sometimes just go to sleep on its own instead of completely crashing. Please help, I have been having nothign but issues on this thing so far.

Yes the battery is just out, I use this mainly at my desk and don't like constantly charging the battery.

I would highly suggest keeping the battery in the computer. Without it you dont have a power buffer so any time there is a low spike in power your computer will shut off. It would be just like a desktop without a UPS.

The computer does not constantly charge the battery, if the battery has at least a 93% charge it wont charge it.

Wouldn't the battery constantly be getting drained and recharged?
Though I have an apc UPS 1500 for any power issues.

But while we are somewhat off topic... Is there an key combo to turn teh fan speed up to 100%?

No it doesnt do that, it will use the AC Adapter before the battery. I've pretty much used my notebook on AC Adapter for the last two years with the battery plugged in and i still get over 1hr battery life on it.

Fn 1 (not F1) will turn the fans on/off full.
