This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     now if i buy without the os, will it be a formatted drive? so i can use a bootable dvd to perform clean install? if not will the dvd have the option to format the drive with ntfs ? i have done clean installs 100 times, but my system has a c drive so its a piece of cake. I am thinking its not a big deal. thanks guys

    Windows will format the drive during the install.
