Hi, I've been lurking these forums for a week, and have pretty much decided I want a sager np8662.

However, I just realized: I don't even know if the np8662 has an external monitor port! If it didn't this would be a deal breaker.

I know there is an option for a "Matrox DualHead2Go External Monitor Video Controller", and that's fine but I don't think I'd pay the price for it.

So simply, without the Matrox adapters, would the defult config of an np8662 have an external monitor port (think it's called a DVI port)? If not, is this also true of the NP5796 & NP5797?

This would really be a bummer. I've been trying to look at close up pics of it, and can't make out whether one of the ports is a monitor port or not.

The NP8662 has a DVI port and a HDMI port. The laptop also comes with a DVI-to-VGA converter for use with older monitors. These two ports are directly on the back of the laptop.
