Sometimes I hear static (crackling sound, similar to the one you get from a faulty electrical contact) from the computer when I touch it, regardless of whether the mic and speakers are on or off. What can I do about it?

    I approve it.

There was nothing like that first month.
But then is starts and made me crazy. I've changed HDD, I've changed OS. I've updated drivers till last version for audio.
    I've monitored processes for Hijumps.

Nothing. It's still crackling... Really annoying.

I remember hearing that the CPU core2duo would whine and produce static sounds when it changes from low clock to higher clock.

You have all developed electricity-based superpowers. That is the only explanation.

I hear it too, random screeches and whines, then it disappears
