ok im not sure what the problem is but i have replaced the gpu from a dead 5870m to a 4870m (another story) then to a gt240m from a dell m15x the display came back on and i was able to go into bios and what not until like the 3rd or 4th minute when it starts beeping then after about 1 minute it shuts off completely. i also tried to boot into knoppix 7 and it did work and i can use it like normal until the beeping and crashing part however theres no beeping but still crashes i can show u guys a video of the exact problem
both times the cpu fan DID NOT SPIN however when i take out the GT240m and put the dead 5870m back in the cpu fan will start to spin
but obviously i cant see anything
how can i fix this problem?
