Hello, I'm looking to change what color the keyboard colors load when I start my computer, without using the keyboard application. It's pretty terrible that it removes focus from whatever window I'm using every time I input a command.

I'd like to change it so the computer keyboard light is red without using that application.

it will always start at dark blue until your settings kick in and then change to what you set. i dont think this can be changed.
change it to red once and then it will keep that setting but still start with blue for the first 10-20 seconds.

I believe this is something in the BIOS, which can not really be changed.

MSI GT laptops have a similar sort of issue that we have noted.

Yeah, I plowed mindlessly through the registry to find something to disable to keep the icons from coming on, but from what I can tell the same thing that controls the colors also controls the notifications. At this moment I have no way of disabling them, though I am sure that SOMEONE out there could software it if they were good enough.

Lately I have been letting the process start on boot, to change the keyboard color, and then killing it after the fact. But it's a bit of a hassle. Does anyone know how to set something to automatically kill a process on boot? The best I've found so far, and I haven't tried it yet, is possibly using this PSKill program to kill the process, and maybe I can set the PSKill to run on boot? Thoughts?

i cant understand what the problem is.
if you dont like the backlit keyboard then delete it so it never come on or am i missing something here.
whats the problem with it booting dark blue for 10 seconds and then changing to what you set it to.

I don't like it either; it just seems we don't have full control of our computer. But it is not a no go since most of the time when turning on the computer I am not looking at it, but it would be nice to have the ability to change it. What I don’t like is that the other leds on the computer are blue and that is odd depending on the color scheme of the keyboard, being able to customize it or turn it off would be nice. I think clevo is just learning about lightening with this generation and should improve the next releases to get more customizations like the AW, I hope.

I'd quite possibly pay up to a billion bucks for a setting in the BIOS that turned the lights completely off by default.

    It looks naff?
