    so every time i start up a game i get this really annoying buzzing sound when i have headpones on. i dont know why i have not really noticed it until now but its horrible. is this a common problem? should i send it back? is there anything i can do? thx.

    turned the volume down a bit. helped kinda. :/

    A buzzing sound is typically a grounding issue. Does this happen with the built in speakers or another pair of headphones?

    I bought an external soundcard and used that instead. The sound controller from VIA is terrible!
    I wished they had Realtek instead!
