I'm thinking of getting an np9262 with dual 9800 gt video cards. I was wondering how noisy the fans are when under load.

    >.> how strange my d901c isn't very silent at all under full load with max fans on and under full load they really do need to be on max. It certainly isn't as loud as many other laptops, but I don't think silent is the right word.

    reasonably silent?

    relatively silent?

silent enough such that when you're gaming you'd hear your speakers but not the fan?

    yes.
    yes.

I don't know about that, my desktop with water cooling is awfully quite :D

Unless you have max fan turned on (which you should do while gaming), you hardly notice them.

Not very noisy unless you have under max fans. But for web surfing and light applications you barely notice they are on.
