I just tried to use my web cam after owning this notebook for 10 months.
At first I did not know to use the Fn and F10 to start the Videoview software, but found that info here. I had tried reinstalling software from the disk and the only one that worked was the Beta .exe in the Camera folder on disk. My problem with this is that it seems that Videoview is just a basic program that really does not have much quality to it. Every thing is in slow motion, delayed reaction and though the picture is not real bad it isn't real good either. I then went to the Sager download site and downloaded the driver for the D-max listed there because the date was 2008 and the installed driver was 2007. I installed and got a blue screen message something about a usb problem. Anyway windows started, but I am thinking that I will go and reinstall drivers from the disk. How do I get this webcam to give better quality?????
    Thanks,
    Mike

Webcam quality is based on how many megapixels it is. I can't imagine that software would affect the picture that much offline. If it just looks bad online, it could be your internet or the program you're using to transmit it.
