Okay so when I am streaming a movie or tv show and watching it online my cpu temps are around 48-55c which to me seems a lil high it came from the factory with the upgraded IC Diamond paste but from what I have read they don't always do the best paste jobs, so my questions are, do these temps seem high to you? I did a firestrike benchmark and the highest temp from that whole process was 83c which I am not sure if that is high or not. Also I have never done anything more than upgrading memory, a hdd or installing a new wireless chip so I have no clue what I am suppose to take apart in this specific laptop to get to the cpu I googled it and looked on youtube there is 1 old video from @HTWingNut applying paste to an old different sager model so I dunno where else to look for some help on what I need to do to get to the cpu so I can remove old paste and apply new...I also don't know if I should get IC Diamond or Gelid Extreme I read an old post on here from 2012 that showed between the 2 IC Diamond did better but that was on an older model sager and I have recently been seeing lots of people recommend the Gelid over the IC D. I should also note that my GPU's seem to get great temps the highest I have ever seen them go is 78c so I think I will probably leave them alone unless it is recommended that I repaste those also. Also wanted to say that my house is rather cool we have the air conditioner on so the ambient temp isn't hot or anything, my fan speeds are set to automatic and the only thing that isn't stock settings is a -70 undervolt. So if anyone has experience with this laptop could help me that would be awesome and anyone who knows more about what temps than me (which is probably close to everyone on this forum) Please let me know your opinion....I have been keeping the laptop super clean and cleaning the vents and fans just about weekly (I spent alot of money on this so I want to make sure everything is in tip top shape so it lasts a long time) Thanks everyone!
*Edit* Okay this is off topic but while I already have a post I might as well ask, In my device manager I have an unknown device and I have no clue what it could be so I don't know what drivers to try and install for it, is there anyway to find out what it possibly could be so that I can fix this? thanks againand sorry to go off topic but I didn't want to make 2 posts in a row...

The fans stay as low as possible under low loads to keep noise down, this keeps temps a little higher.

so these temps are normal then?

As for the CPU, Haswell runs hot. As long as you aren't hitting 90C, I wouldn't be worried about it. -
So up to 55c just watching a movie is fine? Do u think a repaste would help at all?

You'll drive yourself nuts trying to work it out. One thing you can do is put it on entertainment mode in the control center when you're not gaming so it doesn't keep power consumption at the max. -

With regular heatsink cleaning temperatures should not vary much.
