Does EVERY sager-5720 FROM PCTORQUE.com AND DISCOUNTLAPTOP have a overclock in bios? (you can choose OC with 3%,6%,9%,12% and 15%.)
    or
only 5720 with CPU 2.13MhZ has it???

IF I order 5720 with 2.0mhz is there any chance that OC will be enable???
    Thanks :p

I have no such option in BIOS. I have a 2.0 with SATA.

I usually wait until my warranty expires before I overclock. Besides, this thing is fast enough for today's software.

is an overclock in the BIOS better than another type of overclock??

also, i thought i would point out that your N5720 will come with a 7800 Go GTX, with this card overclocking is pretty irrelavent.

On some of the 5720's, there is an option to overclock the CPU in the BIOS [I believe by increasing the FSB speed by a certain %].

On desktops, overclocking for your CPU can be done in the BIOS [er - on boards you buy yourself anyways, can't do that on a Dell :p]

Aren't the Sonoma CPUs multiplier unlocked? If so you should be able to just increase the multiplier to increase clock speed without messing with bus speeds.

I'm not sure why SATA would force this option disabled in BIOS unless the SATA bus would be unusable if the memory bus speed were changed. I'm not all that familiar with Intel based systems as I am on Athlon based systems when it comes to overclocking.
