Hi,I bought a P150em with a 7970m a couple of weeks ago. I got a lot of BSOD, so I tried to fifgure out my problem.

I Came to the conclusion, that after re-installing my system, with catalyst 13.1. I have a good and stable system. No BSOD after restart and such. No Enduro problems with the games I am playing.

Now I like a bit of overclocking!!!
I allready tested msi afterburner. But during that period I had a lot of BSOD and games crashing. I was not sure this was due to the 13.2 beta driver I was using. But now I found out that it is MSI afterburner which is causing the BSOD. I got msi afterburner running ok. (using the enableULPS in regedit). Now after restarting I have the strange thing, that the 7970m is constantly on the high clocks (850 and 1200) even when in idle, so when I am not gaming. Also; GPU use is at 99% when not gaming/idle. If I uninstall MSI afterburner, it just stays this way (good I have a backup of the stable system)

I would like to use MSI afterburner. Any idea how I can get it to work stable? An other option is that I flash a Vbios with higher clocks. But I can't seem to find any P150em 7970m bios's with edited clocks. (any help would also be appreciated)

My temps are great (after repasting with AC diamond) 68 at full load not overclocked and 75 when overclocked at 1000.

    thanks for any help...
