First post here...I just received my 8150/p150hm recently and have some quick questions.

    1. What do the different settings in the Power Conservation Modes tray for the hotkey driver do?

    2. Is it possible to disable the speakers but not the headphones, even when the headphones are removed? The reason for this is, say, if I'm listening to loud music or something and my headphones accidentally came out, I wouldn't want the speakers to turn on.

    3. Which AMD catalyst drivers are best for the 6990m? The default ones or newer ones?

Thanks in advance for answering any of these questions!

Usually the newer drivers are better. But if you experience problems with the new one, just use the default from clevo.
You could test it yourself running some benchmark with the default and the new drivers. For me the newer performed slightly better.

For the new drivers, just see this thread:

    1. That work at the bios level to do power management. Use those in tandem with the windows power settings to get the best performance/battery life as needed.

    2. I don't believe so, as disabling the realtek output disables both the speakers and the headphones. Others may have a better answer though.

    3. Default will guarantee the best stability, though the newer drivers on the site may have better performance. It's worth trying the newer ones, though if they don't work, you may have to roll back.
