This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    unfortunately the seller does not ship to Estonia

    My speakers are hissing quite loudly at the moment(laptop was dropped but nothing too serious, annoyingly loud hiss started to come out of the speakers which stops only when disabling them from the front connection near the keyboard). I have tried to google for a solution, but I don't think that there is any way to fix them and sound cards seems to be okay(I don't know how to check them, maybe connecting a headset with 3,5mm plug and if it does hiss then the sound card is GG.)

    Yes, good advice. All of them have access to spare parts, just a question of whether they want to sell to a non-original customer of theirs.
    Try that first. Also consider it might be just the cable that's shorting.
