    Hi

I have tried bf3 on my old acer and it runs no dramas, however when i install it on my p170em with 7970m, it at first will not show anything on the screen when it runs, then when i press the windows button, it runs in a smaller window, then when i click, that that one mouse click will register, but it enters fullscreen mode and i get mouse movement but no clicking this is happening both with the touchpad and logitech m950.
I googled it and some people said making the mouse pointer only 100% magnification worked for them and others said change settings with compatibility mode for the program, none of these worked for me.
Is it drivers maybe is anyone else having these dramas on a clevo?

Do you have DPI scalling enabled?
That was a problem for me. I disabled it for Bf3 and it worked.

    Mate,
No offense but based on your previous posts and now this one, it looks likely there is something faulty with your notebook.
Time to send it back to be checked fully by your seller. It seems every few days you seem to keep having problems.
Could be first batch faulty AMD 7970m GPU problem.

    Good luck..

This seems to be a recurring problem with BF3 and not a hardware issue from what I can tell.

    Check here

This is something that should be either fixed by driver updates or BF3 updates, but the problem dates back at least a half a year, so check drivers and game updates.

EDIT - Is game resolution the same as your desktop resolution? Some people report different resolutions causing trouble. This happened originally in Crysis for me. I had to click an entirely different spot on the screen to activate the button or whatever.
