    p170sm-a cmos wire replacement?

    Hello, I recently replaced my cmos battery and its not holding memory anymore. I think it might be because took off the stock sticky covering and simply wrapped the wire terminals around the new battery with electrical tape. I'm going to solder them on now to see if that works but I wanted to know if anybody had any links to a set of replacement wires I can buy in case something went wrong and also what type of battery the cmos is in case I got the wrong one. The laptop is the clevo p170sm-a

    Speak to your reseller but if you can measure the voltage across the terminals on the lead, have you made a consistent connection?
