    Guys, do you use 3d on p370? or it is unused feature?
    i had never used 3d screen, thus i dont know if i need it

    i am low on money i have only 2000$
    thus i am choosing between p177sm 4800hq
    and p370sm3, but with 4700hq

    i am going to use notebook for 3d scanning, but ocasional gaming and watching movies

    i dont care about 120hz, i am about 3d or not 3d

    I love my 3D TV it adds a lot to the movie like depth and picture quality, much better then 2D. But I game in 2D way more then in 3D.

    If you've never used 3D and dont care about 120hz (which you should) then go with the standard screen.

    The 120hz 3D screen is also a 72% NTSC color gamut so you a better picture quality over the stock screen.

    120 Hz is needed for 3D, so if 3D is what you want, then a 120 Hz screen will be necessary.

    If you don't care about both, the standard screens run at 60 Hz and look very good. 120 Hz is [arguably] indistinguishable from 60 Hz in normal viewing/non-3D images when talking about overall image quality.

    120hz will not impact image quality per se, but the difference in any fast paced panning of the camera in a game (see 2d platformers like rogue legacy) or first person shooters can make a world of difference to the feeling.
