hello guys, so i just bought an clevo p670se from pcspecialist in uk second hand and i have a small problem with it, the cpu gets way to hot when playing games even csgo it can go up to 97c but most of the time stays at around 77c( i have repasted the cpu and gpu with arctic silver 5) now the issue i have with that is the `w` on the keyboard get`s stuck( not phisicaly) it wont stop registering for about 2sec after i release the key, i have read on other threads that it might be because of the cpu heat which is right under the `w`, now how the hel do i keep this cpu cool and solve this keyboard issue my gpu temp are fine when playing even if overclocked, would premas bios help in any way, please if someone has any sugestions( i have tried adding a rubber mat under the keyboard same issue, i have also cleaned with IPA the key same issue) so how the hell do i keep this cpu cool enough( not even havin fans at full speed is not helping), thank you

AS5 isn't any good for laptop heat sinks imo. Its too thin to provide good contact. MX-4, IC Diamond or Kryonaut are better for laptops.

Does your keyboard stick when the laptop is cold? If it does its more than likely wearing out and could do with a replacement.

Have you tried undervolting the CPU?

You most probably have to get a keyboard replacement. What I have done with my P650SG's new keyboard to remediate this issue is I have placed some paper, folded a couple of times, under the area of the WASD keys.

i had already added a rubber mat but it did not help, does it help you with the paper trick?

I haven't been really able to use my laptop enough to tell you how well it is, but once in a while when I play csgo on my laptop, the paper does help in getting the keyboard to heat up slower. To help with temps on your CPU and/or GPU, you might want to use some liquid metal instead of regular thermal paste, I'm using Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on mine, which brought temps down by about 15°C, from a usual of about 95°C on the CPU while on a sustained load like Unigine Heaven (it's hot all year round where I live).

i have just undervolted the cpu, and now when i am playing csgo i am running the fans at full speed to keep it cool to around max 70c and it helped alot as i did not have any problems( i am using my laptop in my lap when playing), to bad that clevo didn`t think for a better way of getting the air in and out, they should have get the air out on the back of the laptop for the cpu as well and make larger intake vents, apart from that the laptop runs realy well

There is no room for back venting the CPU too and maintain the ports it has.
