Good afternoon my friends, i am in need of your help again on trying to fix a posible bricked gpu, i am under negotiations with someone to buy a clevo p775tm1 with i9-9900k, rtx 2080, 32gb ram, the problem with it(described by him) is that the laptop will turn on and aparently boots into windows as you can hear the keyboard clicks if you press them but there is no image at all( i am not sure if he can boot into bios), he sais that the gpu got bricked after he tried to update the vbios, is there any chance to save that gpu? or is the gpu working and the problem is with the screen? i will let you know more info after i get the laptop. my other question is, would it be posible to flash back the corect vbios on the card(like a blind vbios flash)? or can i add the card into the second slot on my personal clevo p870tm and maybe flash it that way? any sugestions?
Thank you

Yes the GPU has a vbios chip on it, with a dump from another card it could be recovered if that's indeed the issue with an external bios chip programmer with either a 1.8v adaptor or low voltage program mode.

Yeah it could be a bad internal display cable, or the output on the MXM card is dead. There are always options other than the seemingly obvious one.
