I'm haveing a wierd issue where when i type my mouse cursor will turin into a grey circle with a black swril, my cursor will also hop around in the text, putting new charecters in what i type, and scroll bars will scroll up and down on their own. i originally thought this was the pointer drivers, so i uninstalled, and reinstalled, before reinstalling, the problem presisted, and i have no clue what's going on. Any ideas?

there's might be a setting in the synaptics menus that i'm missing, or something of simmular elk, but it's insaine.

Could your palms accidently be touching the touch pad making the cursor move around. I always turn mine off since i use a mouse.

More often than not, this is just accidental contact with the trackpad, as Hutsady asked about. Try disabling your touchpad with your hotkeys before you type and see if it still occurs.
