Has anyone dared to have their Sager painted? If so lets see some of the pics. Also if anyone has one of their skins lets see it too.

Some of their paint jobs are not bad but the skins imo are pretty ugly id have to make some logos to get put on their if i do it.

Here's another thread that's about nothing but the paint job available from xoticpc. Justin@xoticpc also posted some pix of paint jobs they had just finished doing - Justin's a straight-talker on the forum and he doesn't ever try to misrepresent his business or flog his wares here (they generally speak for themselves), so I think you can generally trust the pix he posted on the thread I linked to as reasonably representing what the actual paintjobs look like.

you could always bring it to a local person to airbrush then clear coat yourself / wetsand / buff etc imo would prob be much cheaper then a full send out job.. depends on how well you can spray..

When I was still thinking to paint mine, I looked for an airbrush artist... he was asking much less money than the usual price by the resellers... and he was really good...

i have to come up with some good ideas for what i want my be painted on my laptop. I was thinking some fire and ice theme or just ice but i dont want to paint it something im gunna hate in a year.

the three general themes im thinking are
-Fire and ice (or just ice) if u look at Lich King pictures that kind of ice look
-Bio hazard sign kind of theme. The general color of the laptop would be a lime green
    - finally a 1960's mopar theme. Id have the roadrunner on the case with the two separated strip going down each side of the case also id have the famous "shacker" under the screen same place "alienware" usually goes. not sure of the color i would go with. Probably "Sassy grass green, Plum Crazy Purple."

lol gotta love the names of colors in the 60's

    What do you guys think

I reallllyy want the chroming option, but Justin doesn't have any pics. The only info on it is:

"Chroming" is a new process we just started where we can apply a Chrome, Copper or Gold mirror finish to the machine. (+$70 for this option) (Pictures Coming Soon)

I'm interested in the Copper, maybe a brushed look or something. The Chrome seems nice too, but I wonder how bad it holds fingerprints. It's only 70 bucks too, which doesn't seem like a bad deal.

i have a place we can send interior parts for cars out to for chrome.. it looks like ... well chrome.. look at like a sprint touch phone or similar the band around the side that is chrome.. thats what it will look like.. that would be pretty crazy..

the copper looks the same way just a different color..

yeah, I can imagine it no problem, I'm just interested in actually seeing it. I do have to say though, I do like the orange band that comes with the 5793 a lot, it would match a Flyers logo very nicely, although I don't think I can use a trademark .... :(
