    This is a timely article for me, since I am facing this dilemma. PhysX looks great, and Optimus would be useful, but are they worth an extra $300 versus a card with otherwise equivalent performance? I'm thinking no.

    I went with the 6990m, $300 more for Physx and a few FPS isn't worth it for me. With the next gen coming in the not so distant future, I will go with ATI. If Nvidia puts something out, and it rocks I will upgrade if I can in the future.
