The official drivers have support for Blu-ray, most of the unofficial drivers don't so it's pretty much a toss up between what's more important to you.

How hard or easy is it to switch drivers?

I have a Blu-ray but I use it a lot less than gaming but I do use it. I want the best performing drivers for games, so how long does it take to reflash an official driver in?
