    I had my laptop working perfectly, its a np8150 I turned on the turbo fan for benchmarking and now it wont turn off how do I fix this?

    u sure u tried fn + 1 and not fn + f1 or fn + I? ;)

    also, check both ur cpu and gpu temps, see if theyre in a "normal" range.

    +1, most common mistake
    Its FN+1 and not F1 :)

    If the problem persists, check if either your GPU or CPU temp is above 70 for some reason.

    The EC can be reset by removing the battery and power cord for a few minutes, see if that works, if not remove the CMOS connector as well below the keyboard.
