I have a friend who's Clevo pm150's GPU has kicked the bucket. He was hoping to upgrade/replace his current card... I have done a couple MXM upgrades in the past, and once ran into an issue when the heatsink in the laptop wasn't compatible with the new card, are the heatsinks standard in this model? (the same for all cards?)

    He is looking at a 580m 3.0b, upgrading from a 485m. Thanks.

If its the same card, should definetely fit the old heatsink. Im not aware of any other revisions for the HM series that could use different heatsinks.
Just make sure the VBIOS is really clevo. Non-clevo cards wont work unless blindflashed.

Aye, it should work fine. TDP and heat sink between the two is the same.
