It is not heavy at all. I owned one, and it is the size of your average 15.4" notebook. It is about 6 lbs, which is a textbook and a half.

It's abouts 6-7lbs, like Charr said. Very manageable. I haul it around in my backpack, along with a paperback textbook and a few notebooks, every day for school. Very manageable.

Same as the above; I bike around campus a lot and you get used to it, it's not that bad.

I wear mine everyday also, not bad at all. My biology book is heavier.

What kind of sleeve bag, if I may ask? I've thought about getting one, but I figured the battery would get in the way.

It is a foam padded sleeve bag came with sager book ordered from pc torque. no brand tag can be found on it so I don't know which company made it. Battery pak sticks out only less an inch a 15.4 sleeve bag should work just fine. Best to try out some bags in person if possible.

I carry mine around to class on campus. Very manageable and portable, and not too heavy at all. I'd say this is a perfect size if you want to use it at the desk and then take it to class. It also gets a lot of positive remarks because of the nice coloring on the lid! :D (especially from the macbook owners haha)

Sager is portable, Segar ( as you call it ) not very portable at all. Segar sounds like a cross between sager and sammy hagar, and he's quite chubby by now. ( for those younger folks who don't know who sammy is look up Van Halen post DL Roth.)
