    "power conservation" traybar icon missing

    HI all, i ve got a p151hm and i switched to "energy star" when i was using the battery only, but I couldn't be able to find the icon and switch it back to performance mode now wen i m using A/C .. anyone can help please ?

    Simply open Control Panel, then All Control Panel Items --> Notification Area Icons and finally System Icons ;)

    The system icon for Power must be turned off for some reason.

    Sounds like your hotkey icon/driver is missing. I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the hotkey drivers. The Windows power icon has nothing to do with the "power conservation modes" that are installed with the hotkey drivers, so it can't affect those settings unfortunately.
