wrong side guys. The AC side of the brick is plenty long. Its the DC side of the brick, the side that connects to the computer thats too short.

My old dell had an extension that could be removed. I was hoping something similar was available here.

I'm with you on that one. The cord is way too short on that end. I'd love to find a longer one also.

I am having trouble understanding why it matters which side is extended. Out of curiosity can you tell me why you need one end longer but not the other?

I want to put the brick on the floor. I have a nice big desk at home that by the time the cord come 1 foot off the back of the computer to the desk edge there is not enough length to reach the floor.

When I'm in the office or seminars its the same thing, especially when seminars have stadium seating and I'm trying to reach the floor of the next level down.

Well... I have singularly failed to find the cord I need. Hopefully this bump can get some eyes of somebody who knows where to get this.

Unless you're willing to buy a new brick to DIY or do it to your old one, there just isn't anything else out there for purchase at the moment. I wouldn't advise the DIY route either as it's a poor substitution at best and dangerous at worst (by DIY I mean cutting the cable and splicing in your own extension).

Only the wall to power brick side is easily extended- the brick to laptop side is pretty much stuck to that length as it is now.
