my np9170 come with Hotkey 6.0044. while i running the update, it said 6.0044.msi (????) is missing. i made a copy of 6.0045.msi and renamed it to 6.0044.msi and it completed the installation. however after restart, it still is 6.0044. anyone tried?
i don't think the hot key version running after update will follow me and rename itself, right?

From experience; first uninstall 6.0044 then reboot. After reboot install 6.0045, then it will work, I had the same problem when trying to upgrade without uninstalling first. But now Clevo have released hotkey 6.0051, I have installed it and it works fine.

    Has anyone tried this?

    ftp://usftp.clevo.com.tw/P1xxEM/Others/Hotkey.zip

I'm going to try this right now. I'll post back if there's anything awesome (or not).

Edit: I went from 6.0051 to now 6.0056. I don't notice anything different. Both times I updated myself, BTW, meaning it didn't come 6.0051 from manufacturer.

When I hit caps lock in a game, it alt-tabs because of the caps lock icon in the corner. Is that problem solved with newer versions?

Also, is there a changelog? Can't seem to find one anywhere.

I can't find a changelog either. As for the caps lock, I never had that problem. I always accidentally press it in every game I play. The light turns on and I turn it off again. I hope the latest version didn't introduce this bug for me. Lol.

It was with the driver from April I think, maybe it got solved. Won't be able to test it for 2 weeks as I'm away for work and left the laptop at home. I only tried Skyrim though so I can't confirm if it's doing this with all games.

I just posted this in the driver thread but here you have it:

This is a common error with the Hotkey installer, if you run it, it will tell you it will perform a upgrade when in fact it won´t, it will always display an error. Just uninstall, reboot, install latest ;)
