I booted up and none of the USB ports were working so I restarted and it has been shutting down for the past 20min..?

Did a hard reboot, everything working fine now. Does anyone know what could have caused this?

Occasionally the static current in the EC chip causes odd behavior. It could have been that, or just an operating system hiccup. Your hardware is most likely fine, but be on the lookout for any other strange behavior.

Alright, thanks. No problems since.
-
I've also noticed the power jack seems to be fidgety, it will very easily disconnect. Has anyone else noticed this?
-
no one else has noticed this? Its starting to become a bit of a pain.
-
Nope, mine is quite solid. Not easily disconnected.
-
The jack is quite lose, is this RMA worthy or how could I fix it myself?
-
I am pretty adventurous. However I would RMA that.

If you attempt to fix it yourself you will risk your warranty. We don't have any reports on the jack or cable being faulty, but the brick is rather heavy and can often cause strain on the connection. -
Its been like this since I've had it, just has gotten worse since. The brick is normally on the table with the laptop so I dont think that's the reason.

Nevermind, apparently I just wasn't pushing it in all the way... oops

Glad it was just something silly.

This just happened again, and for the past couple of days upon every reboot it will change the sound mode to surround instead of headphones and I have to go manually change it. Does anyone have an idea on what the problem could be? Thanks in advance for the help.
