where do I find up to date drivers? clevo website doesn't even have it listed. or are the drivers on the cds xoticpc sends up to date?

    http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Elect...&qid=1422590441&sr=8-1&keywords=msata+samsung

is this msata ssd from samsung compatible with np8672 as my os drive? or are all msata = no problems?

question about xotic pc cash option: can I send money to them via western union? having to change my cc shipping address is a pain in the ass when I have a WU right next to where I work.

This model is less then a month old so I would think the drivers on the disc are going to be the most current. You really don't need to updated any except the GPU drivers which you can get directly from Nvidia. Sager will eventually host them here http://www.sagernotebook.com/drivers.php

I don't think that drive will work. You want a m.2 SSD or a m.2 PCIe, mSATA is a different connection.

We do not take payment by WU, your best option is asking your bank about doing a bank wire transfer. Some banks do it free of charge. We don't ask you to change your address, but add an alternate shipping address if your bank allows doing so. Some do and some don't. Most bank debit cards wont, but most credit cards will.

thank you for the heads up on the m.2 ssds. I was lost when I found out the different sizes but I used the options on the xotic website to find what I want :) found one! http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-XP941-256GB-PCIe-MZHPU256HCGL/dp/B00J9V53M6/ref=pd_cp_pc_3 would this work?

about the bank wire transfer, can I ask a family member to do it for me in my instead? say my sister? since the weekend is coming up she can do it on saturday easily enough. or does it have to be a bank account under my name? it is no big deal if she can't, I would just use my CC to buy instead.

I always use my amex for big online purchases, and I was told only one shipping address is allowed. For this purchase, I would be changing my shipping address twice. And I can't buy anything before the laptop arrives, I am actually buying this laptop for my brother in law who is working out of state. Had no idea there was a limit till I bought a laptop from xoticpc. this would be my 2nd purchase. Bought one for my nephew 6+ months ago during summer 2014. they have taken a liking to sagers :) that sale actually needed a conference call with an amex rep + xotic rep to finally go through. See, even describing it took this long.

That drive should work no problem, its also offered by Sager to be pre installed.

Yes you can have anyone do the bank wire. If the bank allows it do include your order number, or email us after its been done to let us know the name of the sender. Otherwise we won't know what order it goes to.

American Express is actually one of the best card companies to allow alternate address's. Call them back and maybe you'll get a different rep that has no problem adding it. Just make sure to specifically say you want to add an second authorized shipping address. You don't need to change anything existing, just add one.

final question about m.2 ssds. there are different sizes and lengths, how do I know which ones would work? do you have the exact spec(s) for the ones that will work? I know of at least 2, 22x60 22x80. there seems to be even more sizes.

ok, if I just need to include the name of the sender + order number should be easy. even an email or a call would get that sorted out easy enough.

About the alt address, that is just weird. I would make sure to ask them about why I can't have an alt address. thanks for pointng that out. I am gonna sort that out, could be very useful in the future.
