    You won't feel it at all. Its like a five star notebook. Honest.

    thats really heavy for a 15"...did you weigh it yourself?

    It's 7.1 lbs with the battery, not 8.1

    That's heavier than most 15'' but don't forget it packs more power :) And it stays lighter than a 17''. The specs page says the laptop weight 7lbs + battery pack. I find that reasonable.

    Lol, maybe that's why I thought it was lighter than expected.

    Yeh, 7.1 sounds about right. It's light. I carried around a 10lbs laptop for 4 years. It's gonna feel extremely light to me.
