    quick question about sager and desktop cpu's

    just want to double check the only lineup that allows desktop i7's in notebooks is the x7200 and nothing else correct?

    Yes, the X7200 is the only current Clevo model which holds desktop processors.

    what about d900f doesnt it hold it as well, you sure you got your info right? not just clevo but others such as sager

    Yes, the D900F holds desktop CPUs as well, but that model is no longer being produced by Clevo. That's why I said "current" Clevo model. The 7280 / X7200 is the only notebook that Sager currently sells with desktop CPUs.

    well i guess i'd like to rephrase that which models ever held the desktop cpu's x7200 and w870cu, anything else? w870cu lacks sli support.

    The W8XXCU models cannot hold desktop CPUs. The last three models to hold desktop CPUs are the X7200, D9XXF and D9XXC.

    a little bit off topic but clevo's x8100 offers sli as well, but what is there highest processor support ,only i7 mobile right, you wouldn't happen to know if 485m should be compatible with it, says 480m is...

    The X8100 is temporarily unavailable. I believe Clevo is working on a refresh which will be available in a few months. It should have some NVIDIA GPU options but I'm not sure which ones.
