    No, the supported Q6600 and Q6700 are rated at 95W. The QX6700 and QX6800 are rated at 130W.

    correct, you can only use CPU's that have 95w and less.

    So the only quad-core's that are safe to use are Q6600 and Q6700 (w/ G0 stepping)

    We can only hope that the Q9450 2.66Ghz 1333FSB with 12MB cache and Q9550 2.83Ghz 1333FSB and 12MB cache will work when they are released. They are both 95w.
