    hi all
i've received my refund from kobalt computers today, took 3 days, this is the first time i have to say they have done what they promised to do, and i'm looking to reuse the money get a clevo x7200 or maybe a x8100, anyone had good experiences pls advice.
also i'm writing this thread for 2 reasons
one, as i wrote in my original post, i will write about the refund once i received it.
two, as my original thread been closed, i want to say theres no reason my situation with them can be any better by that thread, i wrote about my encounter with a clevo reseller which i believe i can write about in this forum.
also its not my intention to just damage kobalt's reputation, i want to write exactly what happened to me as a customer with them during 4 months time, if i just want to make kobalt look bad i could write that thread in a few lines just saying the simple truth which even kobalt themselves can't deny and will sound horrible to anyone planing to buy a clevo lap in the future.

I bought from Xotic and have had a good experience. It was my first gaming laptop purchase. From what Ive read on the forum, it seems that xotic, mythlogic, ibuypower, powernotebooks, and some other resellers I've forgotten; all have good reputations. PM a few of them and see who can give you the best deal.

Depends where you are looking, I'm assuming you would prefer to buy from the UK since you live in Manchester, I do not know all the resellers from the UK and Europe, but here is a thread about resellers in America that I believe will ship to UK.

    Try Larry at LPC-Digital.

Not to be biased or anything, (haha), but I bought mine through LPC-digital and he gave me great pricing on these configs.

If you're really polite, he may give you some additional discounts that I am not going to disclose here :D

If you buy from outside the EU, you'll need to add 20% vat to the price & shipping

Even being international you could still get a lower price by ordering from a U.S site even after shipping, cutoms fees, taxes etc. Several sites even offer a discount for international orders. Just check around with the resellers people recommend and go with who treats you the best :)
