Hi is there an sane way to remove a speaker to motherboard cable for the clevo p170sm-a? I've removed every cable so far but this one seems to be attached by adamantium or something. I've tried wriggling, pulling the plastic header with pliers, alternating pushing both sides out etc etc. And there doesn't seem to be anyway around it except to drill through the case or cut the cable?

PS I want to transfer the motherboard to a new bottom case if there was a way to do it withut removing the cable I would but the speaker is positioned in a way that I'd have to destroy both the old and new bottom case to do this.

It should pull out, have you tried gently wiggling it side to side while pulling?
