    resale of my sager?

    So I have had my sager 5760 laptop for about a year and half now. Its been a wonder laptop. It was a great choice at the time, blazing fast in gaming. But since then I stoped gaming, and looked towards portability. So now I have my sager sitting around half the time. Can any one help me find a place or know any one that would want to purchase the laptop. I know this isnt the "for sale" section, but I have posted an ad in there and did not get much response, maybe some one here might want to consider my laptop.

    Your best bet would be selling it privately, you won't have much options to 'trade it in' and if you do, they'll lowball you by alot.

    You can still sell that notebook and get around $1500 or more through eBay.

    Just make sure to not sell it to Nigerian scammers.

    Yeah it seems that the last Sager 5760 got sold on ebay for $850 and some one is listing a similar one for $299 with 4 days left. I probably dont want to list it now, considering I'd just be giving myself competition right?

    Maybe some one here in the sager forum is looking to buy a new sager but might have a change of heart and consider mine (a used one) for much cheaper?

    It really depends on how you name the item... title, keywords, pics, benchmarks, etc..

    You can also "craigslist" it if you want to sell it locally to you.

    I have to admit that I am not the most ebay savy person. I have purchased a good deal of things on ebay but selling has never been my strong point. So I am reaching out and seeing if anyone would be willing to create an "ebay" listing page, course I would list it with my user name, and I would in turn be more than willing compensate for their troubles.

    Let us know how it goes. I'm exactly in the same situation with the same laptop but I don't want to sell it for a very low price. Still a nice machine.

    I sold mine with a bit better specs for 1090+shipping.I could have made like 1150 but it was good enough in ebay.But it had a 7950GTX and a TV Tuner card.

    Eh, stupid ebay cons, so the winner claims that something about he didnt bid and his account was hacked or something and that he cant by my item. But the most bidded was $880 maybe I'll list again. I have a TV Tuner card, maybe I didnt make that clear.
