recently my laptop came up with a disastrous issue of shutting down after couple of minutes after i power it , i took it to a maintenance shop and they told me either the gpu or the motherboard is defected , i was wondering would the laptop boot-up and reach windows loading screen if the gpu is defected ? also can i remove the gpu and run solely on intel 3000 graphics?? is the maintenance shop guy is clueless?
