    Ok,

i have had my sager 2090 since Christmas and its had major issues for some reason. I primarily use it not for gaming but rather for graphics (3d max, revit architecture, cad architecture, and adobe programs) and internet. It usually works fine with all these programs but sometimes when i am running an adobe program or google sketchup it crashes to blue screen.

It is the windows xp version, 2 gigs ram

The issue however is it crashes to blue screen and restarts itself so fast i cannot even see why it crashes. The screen is full of info but its there for about a second and then it restarts. This happened about once a couple of weeks and i don't know how to fix it.

Until today some even worse things happened. I was in illustrator and suddenly it just crashed to the desktop with some odd error. Restarting resulted in the same error and a hard crash. Upon restarting it crashed immediately again and took me to the safe mode screen.

Upon restarting again everything started off ok. It told me it reseted to previously working conditions (even though i didnt change anything) AVG antivirus was unable to update and crashed to desktop. Opening it to scan caused it to crash and now its running but wont scan and its "resident shield" is turned off but cannot be turned on.

Windows update just failed to download a service pack 2 update (i tried to do so manually via the windows update website)

Spybot came up with nothing saying there was anything wrong other than windows antivirus being turned off (because i have/had avg)

annnnnnnd adaware just upated then crashed on me with a system error 1814

thankfully somehow i can still access everything and i have just removed all essential files from the laptop.... even more thankfully i just finished my quarters finals and have 2 weeks that i dont really need a laptop :/

currently i am about to try to run some programs and i have my camera right next to me in case the computer crashes again just so i can take a picture of what the BSOD even says to post here.

if you want even more of a play by play: ctrl alt del dosnt work now...

actually nothing loads or works aside from my plug in mouse and my ability to click on files, but clicking on my hard drive wont even work aside from browsing

    HELP!

edit: its not even letting me go to the restart/shutdown menu

edit: upon hard restart: "one of the files containing the systems registry data had to be recovered by use of a log or alternate copy. the recovery was successful." but no, still the same issues.

in fact, i just tried to scan with adaware again and my laptop just up and restarted itself. BSOD... restart again

finally got a pic of the bsod, uploading to a link: http://img296.imageshack.us/img296/5044/picture002vt7.jpg

major hardware fualt is to blame i think.
or a poor install of windows.

hope your machine is under warranty.

I would recommend running Memtest86 to see if you have any problems with your RAM. Have you looked at your event viewer?

I had this problem before doing a complete Win XP Pro reload. No problems since. :)

Memtest does not require you to boot into Windows. Once you download it and make a CD(ISO) or bootable floppy it will boot directly to the testing software. You can read up on the Event Viewer here.

I've started to get some similar issues with my 2092, in the last week it's crashed 3 times to the BSOD giving the error message "bugcode_usb". I've only been able to catch the blue screen once to see the error message so I haven't go the full error code. Any suggestions?
