Is this screenshot of the Windows Vista Experience Rating supposed to show anything that's wrong with your NP2090? Can you describe more specifically, if it happens periodically, random, or after you do something particular?

Um, that hasn't been released yet so you're installing a beta and while others have reported no problems with it, it's still beta.

that's not the point...i'm using the regular vista ultimate, and my computer randomly freezes. i go with the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"....my computer is freezing=broke...that's why i decided to update to sp1.
which i can't do because during the update it also freezes.

goke313, can you check for temperatures for both of CPU and GPU cores?

Download the software, and use it to find out the temperatures.

my roomate insist it's not a temperature...it's a software problem since it freezes+screen is still on+if there's audio(it constantly repeats)

Good. Then perhaps updating your drivers to the latest version may help, or run ccleaner to repair your registries. Or at worst, reinstall your OS.

    If it's an upgrade.
I guess you have to install XP first, then Upgrade to Vista. (Ouch, that's a long time)

    Yes.
    1. Install XP first, then Vista (Original)
    2. Buy Vista standalone version
