Hey guys, I know that the weight of the Sager 2090 is around 6.5 lbs (I think). I was wondering (for those of you who have one), how it feels to be carried around all day. I am a student and usually take my laptop (an old Toshiba Satellite...around 5.5lbs) to school. Is the weight comfortable for you guys?
EDIT: Also, how hot does the laptop get? I know that my laptop gets pretty warm (when I rest my hands on the keyboard) after an hour of use.

I've read reviews that the laptop is OK to carry around, but you'll definately feel the weight after a while. 6.5-7lbs (with the AC adapter) isn't exactly a light weight in the laptops category. My sisters Inspiron 5150 is heavy 15 inch behemoth, weighing in at 7.8lbs, and I wouldn't want to carry that around at all. I noticed that anything under 6lbs is comfortable enough to carry around for a day.

I've also read that the NP2090 is very quiet and only slightly warm to the touch even after extensive use.

Sorry, but I don't have the laptop yet so most of this info is just what I've read and what my experiences with other laptops are.

The weight of the IFL90 is very terrible. In fact, its been horrendous. Good thing I already have a comp for school, cause the weight is too awful for me to make it in time!

    (Couldnt resist heh)

I think the fact taht it's widescreen makes it easier to carry than if it were square, like some of the Dells a while a go. I dont' think it's too heavy, of course I've never had to carry it around all day. The AC adapter isn't heavy, but I think it's pretty inconvenient.

    i think its alright..
a little bit heavier then most..
    but worth it..

maybe a pound less for other notebooks..
but then a pound can be a lot depending on the person...

Figured I shouldn't bother making another thread. For those who have there 2090 how is the noise, could it be used in a library or other quiet place without distracting other people?

When you say quiet....is that more quiet than say a 1520, or a G1s? Not that many people have that combination...but I would like to know what you've heard...and such.
