I currently own a sager 5760 but do not have my driver CD. My bluetooth is not working (ive tried fn+f12 with no luck) and believe i may need the driver off the disk. Unfortunately I dont have my driver disk and was curious where I could get my bluetooth driver to install and to get my bluetooth up and running.

    thanks g

Alright, So i got the drivers and installed them. The Bluesoleil program is up, but its saying I need to attach a bluetooth device. The drivers say theyre working properly, but how do i configure this to get my bluetooth to work. Its still not turning on/off w/ fn+f12

Is the Bluetooth indicator light on in the LCD display? If not, and using Fn + F12 doesn't work, then there is some sort of hardware problem.

Alright, so I read my manual and decided im going to uninstall all my optional drivers and reinstall them. Im hoping that if I install them again it might get my bluetooth to work. I know it says to install them in a certain order so im gonna go back and do it again.

Hopefully I wont have to be calling tech support and sending my laptop in to get fixed.

Dude, bluetooth is a wireless short range protocol. If you don't have any other bluetooth equiped devices, this won't do any good for you. You'll need at least a Palm, a phone, something for your 5760 to connect to...

I know, and I have some. Just bugs me that I paid 60$ for it and it doesnt work. My next phone will be bluetooth as well as some other things as I get more cash flow. I may not need it so much right this minute, but I do plan on making use of it in the future

Ok. just wanted to clear this up ;). Now what do you have as bluetooth devices that you wanna make work? Just be a little more specific because BT often involves a lot of thing to actually make it work (pairing, for example).

well my next phone will have bluetooth. and ive been wanting to connect with my buddies mac book pro. Im just a little frustrated that it doesnt work, and no w its becoming more clear that its probably a hardware problem and im gonna have to send in my computer and not have it for a while. I can deal with that, just annoyed that I paid to have it in there and it doesnt work.

Man just calm down. I seriously DOUBT it's a hardware problem. BT is not like wi-fi and is not intended to connect a bunch of computers together  . BT works better with a master device and slave devices. BT is intended as a Personal Area Network. Each devices must be paired together with an access key.

If you want to send back your laptop, fine, but just try to know a little more about BT and how it works before you do so.

If you want to connect with you buddies, create an ad-hoc wi-fi network instead.
