I was in the exact same dilemna until about 2 hours ago when I ordered the Sager 5790 from Xoticpc. I went with the Sager because the video card is "user upgradeable" and maybe by the time all the DX10 games come out in the next year or so I can hopefully still upgrade the card to something better than the 8600 GT which your stuck with in the Asus and the 7950 is currently the best card out and should be great for a while, much better than my current 6700GT. I really like the look of the 5790 too-- I didn't want all the lights flashing and drawing any unwanted attention at work :)

Yeah It's going to be a looong wait but it will be worth it and I can get by for a month or so. I almost went and ordered the G2S for that exact same reason. I think I would have been happy with it anyway, they both seem like excellent notebooks. From what I've read the screen on the Asus is really killer. Actually the 8600GT would likely be overkill for my needs anyway. I play WOW and MOH mainly.

yeah i've heard good things about hte Asus screen too. I also read that the 8600 GT is actually worse than the 7950 GTX, just that is has the Dx10 capabilities
