Hey guys, whether my laptop is plugged in or not, in the Catalyst Control Center, under power saver -> active power plan, it always reads: power saver. I can't figure out how to make it performance orientated. I have read on another thread power saver can decrease performance quite a bit.

Do you have the hotkey drivers installed? Right click on those in the tray and make sure they're not set to power saver. Do the same for the Windows power saver. If that doesn't fix it, you can try reinstalling the AMD drivers/hotkey drivers as that should resolve it.
