    sager 8662 external monitor question?

    Sager 8662 internal monitor has a max resolution of 1680x1050. I am thinking about buying a large external monitor I was wondering If say the external monitor had a higher resolution like 1920x1080. Would my laptop be able to support that resolution on the external monitor?

    Yes the laptop will be able to display at a higher resolution to the ext monitor's higher res.

    You would have no problem using a external monitor at 1920x1080. :) If you want sound to go to the monitor or a external source you will want to be sure it has HDMI.

    Keep in mind that 1920x1080 is about the maximum resolution the NP8662 can output. The DVI port is single-link, sadly, so no running a 30" monitor at maximum resolution.
