i've had my 9262 for about a year now, and looks like its time to upgrade the quadro fx 1600m... not performing as well as i need it too for this upcoming semester

ideally i'd like the quadro fx 3700m, but i just cant seem to find one with MXM-III (plenty of ones pulled from dell's m6400, but those are mxm-II)
i could go bvack through xotixpc, but just can't afford the price through them

so now im searching for a quadro fx 2700m, i've found one with NB9E-GLM2 after it, but i would assume thats MXM-II as well and will not fit in my laptop, is that correct? (M2 seems to mean mxmII, but the price for that is only $100 so i would buy that immediately_

any insight? studio's are starting up this wednesday, so i would like to get upgraded ASAP

    thanks in advance

MXM-III is backwards compatible with MXM-II. Notice that I am not talking about MXM version 2.1 and version 3.0, but version 2.1 type II and type III.

hmmm its on ebay for 100bucks... anyway to make certain that it will fit before i buy? i can return it but i just dont have the time to disassemble and reassemble if it doesn't work

nVidia Quadro FX 2700M (NB9E-GLM2) graphics is the description, thats all the seller seems to know know (although he has 4 for sale)

    should i go for it?

i just emailed xotic and it seems the i can not use the 2700m...

i do need the upgrade, but also can't spend the $950 tag on it

i've had a problem just finding the quadro fx 3700m in general, let alone get one that i can use with the sager 9262 any suggestions?
