So up until recently, I've been calling my laptop a sager np 8662, but it occurs to me when I ordered from RJtech, they had been calling it the clevo M860TU.

This is the name/model number as provided by the ODM, clevo? Sager np 8662 is a name provided by the reseller, sager?

I just want to refer to my machine by its proper appellation :)

Yes, it is a clevo. Sager is a importer of the chassis.

^^ like said.... and ditto on what the polar bear doing. :)

Clevo is the ODM, Sager is the importer OEM that then brands them with a model name/number.

    all in Clevo Guide.
