    i was thinking of buying this laptop for college, but the back order of 3-6 weeks is too long for me. are there any websites that will ship it out in a pretty fast amount of time?

    The delay is a result of slow or delayed manufacturing or shipping problems in Compal's factories in China, not because of the resellers, so don't count on any reseller offering the IFL-90 significantly faster than anyone else.
