    Hey everyone,

After a quick google search, Sager gets a lot of crap from people who get their computer RMA'd from them, and there's a lot of horror stories. Ever since day 1 my 8150 has had random freezing issues.

I bought it through Xoticpc, and they were very helpful throughout the process and last summer, and i would have/should have sent it in then, but I had school, and an online class that would have been very difficult without a laptop. so fast forward 1 year, and finally my summer online classes are done, and i get xotic back in the game, and i get a shipping label.

Unfortunately, i did not keep my laptop box, and they require you to ship it to them at your cost. Because i was in a hurry to catch a flight, i ended up springing for the UPS laptop shipping case, which cost me 20 bucks :/ this was my only problem with the process.

I sent my laptop in July 5th, it arrived at sager on july 10th.
According to the xotic post that was emailed to me, you weren't supposed to ask for a status update until 5 buisness days later.

on the 16th i emailed xotic, and they told me sager was having difficulty duplicating my problem. So i basically just reassured them that it was pretty random and happened with almost every application i've run.

On the 19th sager duplicated the problem, and replaced the main board, and GPU. my laptop was sent back to me and then arrived on the 25th.

My laptop was actually in better condition then when i left it, While i had no scratch marks anywhere on it in the beginning, the laptop's screen was about as clean as i could get it, and there was some lint on the laptop because with the finish it's really hard to get off. they sent it back to me with almost no lint on it, no scratches, and the screen cleaned PERFECTLY.

And when i say perfectly, i mean it looks flawless. I would really like to know what to use to get it this clean, no streak marks or anything...

Overall 9/10 because i had to pay for that shipping box.... while 20 bucks is insignifigant compared to 2000, after paying 2000 bucks plus a 3 year warrenty, you would think you would get a little bit of a break and at least get a shipping box.

Thanks for the note, I will keep the box my laptop came in. I bought 2 year warranty on mine.

    Nice reports of your process!

I've also kept my box. My wife hates it when I keep boxes for computer and compenents I've ordered online. So its in the trunk of my car lol.
