    does anyone have the sager bootable bios that i can burn to a dvd. a link or pm for this would render me in absolute debt to the person who can supply me with it many thanks.

    You should be able to burn the 1.00.12 Bios with NERO as a bootable CD.
    You could always revert to using floppy drives. You can make a bootable floppy drive very easily with the Bios information on it. From there it is very straightforward. Probably easier to do than a optical drive.

    You may want to try a USB drive, read Z-Factor's guide to making a bootable USB drive.
    To be honest the bootable USB drive was the best of the three options for flashing.

    the usb stick seems to always be the most reliable method for me.
